Conference media updates
Keep up-to-date with media alerts on the Conference as these become available by signing up to our Conference media mailing list. To be placed on this list, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also see our media updates by following @DAA_feed and our hashtag #daa2017 on Twitter, or by downloading the Conference app.
Be onsite for the Conference to attend sessions and interview speakers. Press passes can be made available for interested media (including Australian-based journalists from print, radio, television and online media outlets) to attend sessions at the conference. To request a press pass, please email email@example.com.
Please note: Issuing of press passes is at the discretion of the Conference Management Committee.
On-site media centre
Interested journalists can use the dedicated on-site media centre, which will be set up with work stations, a phone line, an interview space and will have copies of speaker’s abstracts.
The media centre will be open from 8.00am on Thursday 18 May for the duration of the Conference. Staff from the Dietitians Association of Australia will be on hand to assist with coordinating interviews with speakers and accessing additional information.

If the answer is ‘yes’, we encourage you to list your professional social media details at the end of your Conference presentation, and include the conference hashtag #daa2017.
Etiquette: Social media at DAA’s National Conference
The National Conference social media moderator/s will:
- Delete spam or comments that are off-topic, offensive, untruthful, libellous, threatening, discriminatory or demeaning.
- Reply to comments or posts when appropriate, but cannot reply to all comments or posts.
Users who engage on DAA’s social media channels (such as Twitter) acknowledge that:
- It is their responsibility to keep contributions professional and respectful,
- The information posted by individuals or groups external to DAA represents the opinion of the participants and not necessarily the opinion of DAA,
